Moving on out...

Oh my gosh! Can you believe it's the end of January already?! Where did that month go? Or 2010 for that matter?

Oh, I know.... it flew by while I was smashing through some wordpress code, getting educated on ftp and learning my booty off with tons (and I do mean TONS) of internet type language and postprocessing knoweldge AND moving forward with my photography. And did I mention that I'm loving every minute of it? Yep, that's right... I'm eatin' it up!

And with all this growing I've decided to find some new digs that will give me more room to grow... and grow... and grow some more. I definitely want to keep y'all updated on the goings and happenings of me and my photography journey. So why don't you head on over there to check it out?! It's really quite comfy... You'll find me at www.megancarlingphotography.com (www.megancarlingphotography.com/blog)

I'll stay there awhile, so make sure you bookmark the pages when you get there so you can keep comin' back for more! Here's a little peak into the future ;)

And baby makes three...

I cannot think of a time more precious than the moments leading up to your first born. As the family grows, so do the hearts within it. I have no doubt that the love in this family will grow when this much anticipated little one arrives.

Details in the fabric of family....

It's not everyday a girl can come along such a wonderful family made up of so many extraordinary textures of personality... Oooh, I had a ton of fun getting to know them on a warm winter's afternoon; and I had even more fun getting to know them while working on their photos. Who they are really shines through!

Here's (more than a) handful of my favorites from that session....I had a hard time choosing ♡

A warm and happy family during the happiest season of all...

I really loved capturing these precious moments among a beautiful family. They've come together to spend some much needed memory making time with the ones they love. Here are some of the images from they're evening together...

Announcing the 52 week photo project 2011!

That's right folks. I'm starting a 52 week photography project. Anything and everything goes. I tinkered with the idea of a 365 day project but then Santa brought me a fun new film camera that I just can't wait to play with. And because film takes a bit longer to develop and turn into a digital file.....well, you know, a 52 week project makes more sense!

So be sure to keep coming round these here parts of the world wide web for what develops. See you in the new year!
